That night of magical transformation.

This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!

...that. THAT was one of the BEST nights out I've ever had.

As all of you might know, I managed to get Ballroom Dancing for my PE (well, now you know, at least. XP). I'm in Ma'am Kimpo's class -- that's recreational ballroom dancing for you! As such, for the last days of our PE class, we had a DANCE PARTY with the other class.

It was at Savanna Moon. Libis. Right across Eastwood. o.o We wound up there because Kublai's (the usual party place) was under renovation. :| So no buffet dinner. aw.

That aside, I had sooooooo much fun last night. :D

Preparations always come before the party; and preparations involved nails, hair and makeup. o.o Super crammed. Hahaha. I started my preparations at around 5 --and to think that we were supposed to be ready by six! We left at around six-thirty I believe...... o.o I sincerely apologize, Jed, Leland, Jotham and Kevin! >< style="font-style: italic;">transformed.. in a sense.. haha. THANK YOU SO MUCH GIRLS! Funny... I only looked at the mirror twice or thrice during that whole session, so YES, I never really knew how funky I looked when I left in a hurry. But it all worked out well, so meh. :) I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to

  • Karina - for the makeup. :)
  • Kara - for the awesome curls.
  • Lisa - [for directing. LOL] and for your shoes.
  • Kaye - for nail polish!
  • Kim - for being my secretary/alalay. XD Sorry about that.
  • Eliazoans in general for giving me their moral support! Yaaay! I was a bundle of nerves the whole time. o.o
  • Mamang Taxi Driver - for waiting patiently for us me.
  • Cervinians - see above reason
It was lame the first few moments -- the girls forbid me to use my glasses and so I failed to capture the guys' expressions in full detail (however benta they may be. XD) Hindi ko na natiis sa Savanna Moon - I must put them on, if I want to experience the night in full!

Music. Lights. People. Tugshtugshtugsh. We danced and danced and danced. :) Dinner never came soon enough, and we were always thirsty -- but it was worth it. :D Apparently, some dance instructors used the place to practice with their students. And DAMN they were so good. The elder ones - especially! There was this lady who leaped and twirled quite gracefully -- she was light in her step, and quick on her feet, as the guy who led her did dips, one after the other. The whole class actually whooped and cheered for her -- and with good reason! It is quite rare to see such a sight.

>>>There was a time na nagwala kami ni Panjee sa tabi -- just fangirling at these dancers. :)) IWANTTOBEABLETODANCELIKETHATWHENI'MOLDER. ^___^

Our repetoire of learned dances were quickly exhausted -- there's only so much you can do with a few fixed steps. o.o To compensate, the crowd formed a circle and... I dunno, did their stuff! :)) Tugshtugshtugsh. Basta un. I cannot explain it otherwise.

>>LOLOLOLOLOLOL @ Bisaya people. LOL talaga. :D

It is sad to admit that I started to get bored with the usual routines. ><>>>KIM! Only now do I fully understand the true joy of choreographing. WHERE HAVE I BEEN ALL THESE YEARS? (Although I can't choreo to save my life, it's still prettyfreakinFUNandAWESOME to do. :D )

That's true dancing.. for me, at least. Sure there were blooper moments -- but hey, that makes it so much more fun. ^__^ And what does it matter, anyway? :)) Last night was my first night to ever experience that dancing-in-the-spur-of-the-moment kind of thing. And.. oh how I loved it. In terms of dancing, this Ballroom night totally blew my JS Proms out of the water. I know now that I love to dance... and it is that thing in parties that I would probably look out for.

Kaya.. I am SUPERDUPERMEGAULTRATHANKYOU grateful for that opportunity. Last night was a blast. The P350 was so worth it. I have ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS ABOUT HAVING BALLROOM DANCING AS MY PE. Ya hear?! :D

..no wonder I waltzed in the room, giggling like mad as if someone blasted me with happy gas (Nitrous Oxide if you must know~) straight to the face. I mean, really. My feet were dead, and I could hardly walk, and I was in constant pain...

But I sure as hell was euphoric!

LOVE. Just.. LOVE.

So guys... if you have any pictures (or if you know anyone who has pictures) of that AWESOMELYFABULOUS night, please do not hesitate to tell me! Actually.. I IMPLORE of you to send me links to those magical images.

The night has ended. Back to reality now. Still, I believe that my dreams would still be, and will be lost in that world of dancing, for many nights to come.

"On clear and peaceful nights like these,
There's nothing more I'd like to do
Than to lie down, under the heavens,
And to gaze at the stars with you...
