Liar Game.
This manga gone drama series is one of the best ever written and made, if you are a fan of psychological warfare. :D

It is, in my humble opinion, equal to, or even superior to the popular Death Note series. Like death note, its main characters are brimming with intelligence - forming solutions to situations anyone would have deemed impossible. What you thought was the end for the protagonists would actually turn out to be their splendid come-from-behind win. Unlike Death Note, however, there are no supernatural references in the story. Just a lot of money [100 million yen] and, well, Liars.

The Liar Game works by giving its players 100 million yen - and this is to be returned at the end of the round. Basically, what the players do is try to steal each other's money, as anything they manage to steal, will be kept for themselves. Anything they lose... will become a debt.

The method of trickery changes with every round. The first round is a one-on-one, while the succeeding rounds involve a group of people trying to split the pool of prize money offered. Things get a little tricky when our main character (who is so stupidly honest, by the way) drags in a genius swindler to assist her in the game. More twists and turns occur as the characters try to outwit each other, using psychology (oh yes!) and math (oh no!).

Ultimately, the series poses the question "Are men to be trusted?". In this world full of lies and deceit, just what is the point of being honest?

Fast-paced and exciting, this short drama series is one of the best you'll ever see.
