and -0.5 na sa mga sagabal sa buhay. Whew. Grabe, stressful pala ung filipino (crapxit) thing... nakakapagod ang preparations pero mas taxing ung aftermath. T_T Pero enjoy na enjoy naman ako sa presentations ng both groups (sayang Team Parisukat - we should've practiced MOAR!!
Pero lingaw (fun) baya ang presentations.. Hahaha... Team Ilocula... I didn't get the whole point really, (I'll have to read your notes pah though... XD) Pero... wala lng. The fact that you guys suddenly break into song and verse just makes me want to ROTLMAO! Go Rina!
As for my Team, Team Parisukat, nag specialize kami sa cross-dressing. LOL. Wahahaha. Poor Joyce, being the only girl MAN onstage. :) (ang ganda pa ng boses niya :) ) Go Gelo! Your Isya is just ADORABLE! Wahahaha... can't stop laughing.. ANG GALING TALAGA NI LELAND. (no further explanation needed) Si Carlo nman (although di ko gets kung bakit hindi siya nka girl clothes XD) is the... uh... counterbalance sa lahat ng insanity na nangyayari. LOL.
Nag interlude pa kami ng Pambansang Awit. :D Oh dibah???
Unya, gipatawag mi sa teacher paghuman sa among presentation. Ambi nako naunsa na, diay tu, nagreklamo ra diay akong groupmate kay ngano daw wa siya gi ingnan na gibalhin iyang role - siya man gud unta mag voice-act, pero gibalhin namo siya sa handout ug sa reporting kay wa man gud siya kadtong nag (impromptu, I admit) recording session mi. Pero still noh, ngano gi-ingnaan man dayon niya ang teacher? Pwede man unta sturyahan lng among the group! Ambot niya ui... naghunahuna unta siya no, before niya tu gihimo! Nahadlok na hinuon ang among teacher - naunsa na man diay among grupo! Xetxetxet.
On a lighter note, we had fun in English (YES MONDAY PA ANG OLYMPICS THINGY!!) and in Lit (lol @ Joyce... hahahah) Math is still Math, though. Naligaw kami sa Intact (like, whaaaaat??
Yehey. At least pumunta, I know, but wherearetheothers???
Oh well. Un na un. Nag heart to heart kami ni Joyce until about 8pm (wah sorry nagabihan ka na! XD) and nag cheer practice kami dito sa dorm until 12:30pm.
OUCH, my back hurts.

-1 chocolate bar
This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!
This is not happening to me.
I am cramming, for the first time. EVER. (At least here, in ADMU).
Thanks to my being a procrastinator (and thanks to Filipino for EXISTING..), I ended up with English, Lit and Math homework. Plus may IAC pa sa dorm. Tapos may GA pa bukas (which means late ako sa cheer practice) Like.... whaaaaaaaaaaat.....
This is serious. I'm actually eating my chocolate. (Chocolate = coffee [I don't drink coffee] = emergency CRAM FOOD) I'm gonna stay up laaaaaaate...
This is such a useless entry.

Canteen.
This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!
The stench immediately hit me when I first set foot in the Cervini Cafe. Ah, wait, stench isn't exactly the correct word, as the smell was not that repugnant as I had expected. No, it smelled of stale air, a hint of something cooking, and Pancit Canton.
I gave my pack of Pancit Canton at the counter, all the while grumbling about the inhuman P10 cooking fee. I also said something about cooking the noodles well, as the last time I had Pancit Canton, I was practically crunching noodles.
I grabbed a glass of cold water on my way to the table, whilst stepping on a foot pedal that wasn't there. I realized my mistake before the others in line caught on, however.
I had saved myself a seat on the way in, and now I saw that the table in which I was supposed to be occupying was... well, tilted. I gave it a few experimental shakes, half-expecting to hear wood creak, but I was mistaken - the frame was metal...
I sat down anyway, setting my glass down with loud clunk, and I gazed blankly at the ceiling. Faint as it was, I noticed several wafts of smoke made visible by the bright fluorescent lamps. I caught a whiff of the oh-so-popular Burger Sizzling which everybody orders thanks to the P65 fee. I leaned back, wanting to relax a bit before my food came, and I nearly lost my balance, as apparently, I had forgotten that I was sitting on a stool.
To my right, I heard laughter and chatter; a large group had merged tables and they were having fun, banging their glasses against the table without a care in the world. From here, I could see that it was they who ordered the Sizzling, which was odd since it was well past lunchtime. They were all wearing the same thing, too. Black slacks and a polo for the boys... A beige-ish blouse and an orange-ish skirt which resembled a tablecloth for the girls... I knew that I should be repulsed by their odd fashion statement (considering this IS the Ateneo) but there was something about it that was oddly familiar... I caught a glimpse of the seal printed on one guy's front pocket...
I head a "ui, yoni!", followed by a slap on the table not too far from where I sat. I immediately turned around, and what greeted me was a grinning face. His smile was so infectious that I couldn't help but grin myself, although I wasn't quite sure why. A clap on my back followed, and my eyes widened - just who was-?
My small, rickety table had extended, and I was seated at its helm. I saw faces... familiar yet unfamiliar at the same time, grinning and joking with one another, before them were plates previously inhabited by Pancit Canton. I couldn't quite see them clearly, however. It was like they were there.. yet they were not... at the same time. Snippets of conversation wafted down to me.. Words like 'research', 'lab reports', 'PFLG', 'mambo' and 'green notebook' struck a particular note inside of me, and I wanted to join in their chatter but I can't - something.. was stopping me...
They were wearing the same uniform that I had described a while ago - that much I can make out. To my surprise, I was wearing something similar! I opened my mouth to speak, and I found that I could! These were my friends, my nakama, and we were all together, laughing and joking, like old times.
My Pancit Canton had gotten cold, as I gazed past the defining walls of the cafe space, my mind trapped in the memories of the past.
----
A few notes:
There is no foot pedal, stool, people in Pisay uniform, or Burger Steak Sizzling in Cervini Cafe. Yes, I was imagining things. Yes, I was delusional.

PISAY-UP-ADMU dinner: the first among many
This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!
Lingawa ui!
Opportunity costs:
- SOSE night
- dinner with mom
- One Piece marathon
- sleep
That reunion was a bit far from what I had expected. (And a good thing, too!) I was expecting to burn some serious cash on some obscenely priced food in a restaurant (the Ateneo stereotype is eeeeating my braaaaainz) or make laag or mall or whatever.
YAY FOR KFC KATIPUNAN!
I was also somewhat expecting that I be distant from the group, as majority of teh PISAY PEOPLE were from UP. Quite the opposite happened. :D Everybody talked to everybody. Grabeh, ang daming nakikisali sa pics (papicture with wayne!!) and I realized na... I MISS EVERYONE! Whoo!
I'm just a bit sad na hindi kompleto ang Pisay people... I was looking forward to chatting with Anna-chan (regarding the course that I would've taken, had I chosen UP over ADMU. Oh! And anime. And the dorm elections.
That's that! Can't wait for the next reunion!!

MRT Rush Hour killz.
This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!
Have you ever wondered what a sardine feels when it's trapped in its small can?
I haven't. And so life decides to spare me the effort by actually putting me in a similar situation.
METRO MANILA IS SO HUGE IT KILLZ YA.
I'd like to see normal, flat roads, like the ones back in Davao, kthx. I long for NORMAL straightforward routes, or at least one ride or two ride trips. I'd like to ride on taxis which don't charge obscene prices. Here we got LRTs and MRTs which, although they are very cheap and very fast means of transportation, mimic a can of sardines where hardly any room for breathing (let alone moving) is left to the poor passenger. -_-
So yeah. Kaming duha ni mama nagsakay mi ug LRT-MRT DEADLY combination. Napisat intawon mi. Maayo nlng gani na naay Chowking Soup for the Soul (LOL factor) na among mapaminawan para ma distract mi sa kaguot ug sa kainit sa sulod sa train.
I so despise leaving Quezon City.

A game for liars.
This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!
Liar Game.
This manga gone drama series is one of the best ever written and made, if you are a fan of psychological warfare. :D
It is, in my humble opinion, equal to, or even superior to the popular Death Note series. Like death note, its main characters are brimming with intelligence - forming solutions to situations anyone would have deemed impossible. What you thought was the end for the protagonists would actually turn out to be their splendid come-from-behind win. Unlike Death Note, however, there are no supernatural references in the story. Just a lot of money [100 million yen] and, well, Liars.
The Liar Game works by giving its players 100 million yen - and this is to be returned at the end of the round. Basically, what the players do is try to steal each other's money, as anything they manage to steal, will be kept for themselves. Anything they lose... will become a debt.
The method of trickery changes with every round. The first round is a one-on-one, while the succeeding rounds involve a group of people trying to split the pool of prize money offered. Things get a little tricky when our main character (who is so stupidly honest, by the way) drags in a genius swindler to assist her in the game. More twists and turns occur as the characters try to outwit each other, using psychology (oh yes!) and math (oh no!).
Ultimately, the series poses the question "Are men to be trusted?". In this world full of lies and deceit, just what is the point of being honest?
Fast-paced and exciting, this short drama series is one of the best you'll ever see.

MIDTERMZ
This blog entry is hosted on both Blogger and Multiply. Have a look!
I'm going to take my math midterms tomorrow. Along with the rest of the Math18a&b. Wish us luck (I definitely need it). And instead of studying my butt off today (no class... woot) I chose to lounge around instead. My stash of food is diminishing at an alarmingly fast pace, leaving me to wonder if I will make it to the end of the week before totally running out. My desk is already twice as messy, as the Asus EEE + mouse + keyboard was joined with sample math tests, a math book, and piles and PILES of scratch paper. I had solved my scratch paper problem about a week ago (I never seemed to have enough) by solving math problems on my photocopied Filipino readings. I'm threating to expand my territory to the LIT readings as well. (oh noes!) I take up a lot of space while solving, you see, for, in addition to my rather large script, I often dive into a problem before properly examining it, hence resulting in a paper that is 80% erasure, 20% solution.
oh crep. I take pity on the unlucky professor who gets to check my oh-so-NEAT and ORGANIZED paper.
One more thing - I wanted to avoid math as much as possible, and so I workED on the CS project.
St00pid, st00pid me.
